Nigerian Suya (Spicy Beef Skewers)

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef steak (thinly sliced)
- ½ cup ground roasted peanuts
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp ginger powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Wooden skewers (soaked)
Instructions
- Mix peanuts, spices, and salt to make suya spice (yaji).
- Brush beef with oil, then coat generously with yaji.
- Thread beef onto skewers.
- Grill, oven-bake, or pan-sear until cooked and lightly charred.
- Sprinkle extra yaji before serving.
